Pererenan, Canggu · The rules of use

Terms of use.

These terms apply to anyone who visits, tours, works or holds a membership at Argil, located at Jl. Munduk Kedungu No.30, Pererenan, Kec. Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80351, Indonesia. By entering the space, booking a tour or paying for a pass or membership, you agree to them.

What we offer

Argil provides coworking space, dedicated desks, private offices, meeting rooms, day passes and access to a working pottery studio in partnership with Pottery Clan. The exact inclusions for each plan are described on the relevant membership or space page.

Memberships and billing

Memberships run month to month unless otherwise stated. Prices include tax. Payment is due in advance of each billing period.

To leave, give us one month’s notice by email. Day passes can be credited toward the first month of a new membership if you join within seven days of the pass date.

Monthly members receive a keycard. A refundable deposit may apply for the keycard; fingerprint or face-recognition access is free. If a keycard is lost or not returned, the deposit may be withheld.

Access and hours

Monthly members can access the building 24 hours a day, seven days a week, using their keycard or registered biometric access. Reception is staffed during the day; exact hours are published on the contact page.

Day passes are only valid during staffed hours. The building is closed on Nyepi. On other Balinese public holidays we operate on regular staffed hours unless notified otherwise.

Conduct in the space

Argil is kept library-quiet by default. Soft talking is allowed on the open dedicated-desk floor, but calls and video meetings must move to the soundproofed phone booths or a booked meeting room. The Hush room is for silent, focused work only.

You may not use the space for illegal activity, harassment, discrimination or anything that puts other members, guests or the building at risk. We reserve the right to refuse entry or end a membership without refund if these rules are broken.

Bookings and cancellations

Meeting rooms, pottery sessions and tours should be booked through the channels shown on the relevant page. Cancellations and minimum booking terms will be communicated when you book.

We do our best to honour every booking, but rooms and sessions are subject to availability. If we need to reschedule, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Damage and liability

You are responsible for any damage you cause to the building, furniture, equipment or another person’s belongings beyond normal wear and tear.

Argil is not liable for loss, theft or damage to your personal property while you are on the premises. Please keep valuables with you or in your locker.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the space is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Private offices and fit-out

Private offices come fully furnished. They must remain visible from the outside, and any items you add must be returned to the original condition when you leave. Member cards are issued for each occupant.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available here. If you continue to use the space after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Either party may end a membership with one month’s written notice. We may also terminate immediately for serious breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Denpasar, Bali.
