Honest fit

Who this suits, and who it does not.

A dedicated desk is right if

  • People based in Pererenan for a season or longer who work the same hours most days.
  • Anyone on two screens who does not want to plug in and unplug twice a day.
  • Members who want mail handling and a business address as well as a desk.

Look elsewhere if

  • Anyone here for a week or two: a day pass or Flex costs far less than a monthly desk you barely use.
  • Teams of five or more who need to talk freely, because the rooms are shared with other members. A private office has a door you can close.
  • Anyone who wants a fully private room for one person.

Questions

About dedicated desks.

Is a dedicated desk in a private room?

It is in a shared room, so you get the same desk and the same neighbours every day, but not a door of your own. For that, look at a private office.

Can I choose which desk and which room I get?

Where there is a choice, yes. Argil has 54 dedicated desks across Levels 2 and 3. On a tour, you can see the shared rooms and pick from whatever is free that week before deciding whether a Resident desk suits the way you work.

How much notice do I need to give to leave?

One month. Resident runs month to month, with no longer lock-in beyond the notice period. Email Argil with a month's notice to leave; there are no forms or exit interview. All listed prices include tax, and a tax invoice is available if your company needs one.

Can two people share one dedicated desk?

No. A dedicated desk is one desk with one member card, plus its own chair, locker and shelf. Two people working side by side need two dedicated desks. A team of three, four or six that needs to talk freely can choose a private office instead.
